Everyone learns differently, not because of ability or motivation, but because every brain approaches learning in its own way.
The StudySMART Profile helps university students understand how they build focus, find flow, and manage their time so they can study more effectively and feel less overwhelmed.

Why Understanding Your Profile Matters

Most students are told what to learn, but very few are helped to understand how they learn or why it works some days and not others.
The StudySMART Profile gives students a simple, research-informed way to understand their study habits and start making more intentional choices about how they organise their time, manage workload, and sustain focus.
In just five minutes, students answer a short set of questions to reveal their unique pattern across Foundation, Flow and Focus, along with practical, proven strategies to help them study smarter, feel more in control, and turn effort into results.
In the profile report students discover powerful insights into their:

FOUNDATION
This aspect of the profile uncovers how a student instinctively responds to demands, tasks, and pressure, whether their default mode is fast-paced and reactive, or more considered and planned. Grounded in neuroscience, it reveals whether emotion, logic, or a balance of both tends to drive their day-to-day productivity habits.

FLOW
This aspect of the profile explores the conditions that help a student reach a state of deep "flow" and momentum, where work feels immersive and time flies. They'll discover what triggers or blocks their ability to enter "flow," and how to intentionally design their day to experience more of it.

FOCUS
This part of the profile reveals when in the day their energy and mental clarity naturally peak. By understanding their biological rhythm and how it influences their attention and output, they can better plan their day to match their focus, not fight it.
Student Impact
“My StudySMART Profile changed how I approach my studies. With my tutor's support I now understand when I work best, plan better, feel less stressed and my results and confidence have definitely improved.”
Emma, Psychology First Year Undergraduate Student
“The StudySMART Profile gave me really practical ways to plan my day.
I've begun to realise I focus best in the morning, so I switched my revision blocks and stopped cramming late at night.
Now I hit deadlines earlier and actually remember more.”
James, Engineering Second Year Undergraduate Student
